Dayton, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Jordan Sibert scored 20 points to lead the Dayton Flyers over the Ole Miss Rebels, 78-74, in a non-conference affair at UD Arena.

For the Flyers (10-2), Dyshawn Pierre added 17 points, Kendall Pollard scored 12 and Kyle Davis chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds.

Jarvis Summers led the Rebels (8-4) with 20 points, while LaDarius White finished with 14 points and M.J. Rhett scored 12 and pulled down nine rebounds.

The Flyers took a 41-32 lead into halftime, as they shot 46.7 percent from the field, including a healthy 6-of-9 from beyond the arc. The Rebels tried to keep pace by shooting 48.3 percent from the field in the half, including 4- of-9 from 3-point distance. Dayton used a 15-2 run midway through the half to build a double-digit lead and give the team early control of the contest.

The Flyers shot 44 percent from the field in the second half, including just 2-of-11 from 3-point range. The Rebels struggled after the break, shooting just 36.8 percent, including 4-of-14 from beyond the arc. Trailing by 10 with under two minutes to play, the Rebels made a furious comeback attempt, cutting their deficit to just three with 16 seconds remaining, but the Flyers held on for the victory.

Ole Miss had the advantage on the boards, outrebounding Dayton, 44-33. The Flyers outscored the Rebels at the free-throw line, 20-10.
