Dayton, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Scoochie Smith tallied 16 points and eight assists as the Dayton Flyers coasted to an 81-55 victory over the Duquesne Dukes in an Atlantic 10 Conference tilt at UD Arena.

Kyle Davis scored a game-high 17 points for the Flyers (11-2, 1-0 A-10), as they picked up their fourth consecutive win. Dyshawn Pierre and Jordan Sibert added 16 points and eight rebounds apiece, while Kendall Pollard chipped in 13 points.

Jeremiah Jones led Duquesne (5-7, 0-1) with 10 points.

Dayton took a 39-22 lead into the intermission after it shot 56 percent from the floor and drained 7-of-15 attempts from behind the 3-point line in the first period. The Dukes were limited to 30.3 percent efficiency from the field and did not attempt any shots at the charity stripe in the opening 20 minutes of play.

The Flyers outscored the visitors, 32-22, inside the arc after the break to extend their advantage on the scoreboard.

Despite the loss, Duquesne's bench outscored the Flyers' reserves, 26-3. Dayton assisted 21 of its 30 makes from the floor.
