Davidson, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Peyton Aldridge tallied 17 points and nine rebounds to lead the Davidson Wildcats to an easy 72-49 victory over the UNC- Wilmington Seahawks in a non-conference tilt at Belk Arena.

Jack Gibbs was the only other player in double figures for Davidson (4-1) with 13 points but 10 different players scored in the victory.

For UNCW (2-2), Addison Spruill (17 points, 10 rebounds) and Cedrick Williams (15 points, 12 rebounds) both tallied double-doubles.

Davidson's dominance started early, as it outshot UNCW from the field in the first half, 41.2 percent to 28.6 percent, on its way to a 41-24 lead at intermission.

The Wildcats' advantage never dipped below 13 in the second stanza.

UNCW committed a game-high 20 turnovers, which Davidson turned into 16 points.
