Orlando, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Shaquille Harrison had 22 points, James Woodard scored 14 and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane were victorious in their American Athletic Conference debut, edging the UCF Knights 56-54.

Rashad Smith contributed eight points and eight rebounds for Tulsa (8-5, 1-0 AAC), which spent the previous nine years in Conference USA.

Adonys Henriquez made four threes and finished with 17 points for the Knights (7-5, 0-1), who got 10 points and 10 rebounds from Justin McBride.

UCF was down 15 in the second half, but rallied to tie the game at 49-49. Henriquez sank consecutive 3-pointers to cap an 18-3 run and pull the Knights even with 6:08 remaining.

Tulsa went back in front on a Woodard trey and prevailed when Daiquan Walker missed a layup in the dying seconds.
