Bowling Green, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Paced by Richaun Holmes with 14 points and seven rebounds, the Bowling Green Falcons downed the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks, 62-54, in non-conference action at the Stroh Center.

Spencer Parker added 10 points for BGSU (3-0), while Zach Denny came off the bench to score nine.

For SEMO (2-3), Jarekious Bradley led all scorers with 18 points while adding 10 rebounds. Aaron Adeoye tallied 12 points and eight boards and Nino Johnson logged 10 points and four blocks.

BGSU held a slim 26-23 lead at the half. Neither team shot greater than 39 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes, but the Falcons attempted 13 more shots thanks in part to nine SEMO turnovers.

With the score tied 38-38 with under 11 minutes to play, BGSU took the lead for good on a free throw by Jovan Austin. The Falcons shot 6-of-6 at the foul line in the final minute to put the game away.

BGSU was able to overcome a poor 3-point shooting night (2-of-13) by outscoring SEMO in the paint, 36-20.
