Chestnut Hill, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Olivier Hanlan finished with 17 points and eight assists as the Boston College Eagles edged the Harvard Crimson, 64-57, in a non-conference overtime thriller at Conte Forum.

Patrick Heckmann added 14 points for Boston College (8-7), which snapped a three-game losing streak with the win. Dennis Clifford recorded a double- double with 13 points and 10 boards, while Aaron Brown netted 12 points.

Wesley Saunders paced Harvard (10-4) with 15 points, but also committed seven of the team's 17 turnovers. Corbin Miller provided a spark off the bench with 14 points, while Siyani Chambers tallied 10 points.

The Eagles took a 30-19 lead into the intermission after they knocked down 48.1 percent of their field goal tries in the opening stanza. Harvard was limited to 25 percent efficiency from the floor in the first half.

The Crimson heated up to sink 40 percent of their shots from the floor in the second stanza. Harvard narrowed the deficit and tied the score at 39 with a 15-4 run with 6:54 left in the second period. The teams traded buckets until the end of regulation, when Brown made a layup with 19 seconds remaining to force an extra session.

BC took a 56-54 lead in overtime before Heckmann scored five of points as part of a 6-1 run that put it out of reach. The Eagles scored 17 points in the second half, and the same amount in the five minute overtime period.

Harvard finished with just eight assists against 16 turnovers, compared to 17 assists and 18 turnovers by BC.
