Fayetteville, AR (SportsNetwork.com) - Bobby Portis scored 18 points and pulled down nine rebounds, as the Arkansas Razorbacks claimed a 69-55 win over Dayton in non-conference play at Bud Walton Arena.

Rashad Madden joined Portis in double figures with 12 points off the bench to help the Razorbacks (7-2) snap a two-game slide and improve to 6-0 at home.

The Flyers (7-2) saw their five-game winning streak halted, despite 18 points and a pair of steals from Jordan Sibert.

Arkansas jumped out to a 40-23 halftime lead after shooting 57.7 percent from the floor and forcing 10 turnovers in the first half. Portis provided an early spark by scoring 14 of his 18 points before the break.

Madden scored 10 of his 14 points after halftime. The Razorbacks crashed the boards in the second stanza, grabbing 20 rebounds to keep the Flyers at bay.

Arkansas held a 26-11 advantage in bench points for the game.
