Eden Prairie, MN (SportsNetwork.com) – It appears the injury to Teddy Bridgewater is not serious and the quarterback may play for Minnesota in Thursday’s game at Green Bay.

Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said Monday that Bridgewater was “doing a lot better” the day after the rookie suffered a sprained left ankle in the fourth quarter of a 41-28 win over Atlanta.

Zimmer said the MRI came back negative and that he’s “hopeful” Bridgewater will be under center for the game against the Packers.

Bridgewater passed for 317 yards and ran for a touchdown in his first NFL start.
