Fans have a lot of reasons to be cheering, “Yes!” as they hear that one of the most beloved UK bands of all time is going on tour. After celebrating their 35th anniversary in 2004, the band took a brief hiatus, and the band hasn’t done a concert since 2010. Now they’ve announced a new tour, and it’s going to be their most important ever!

During the Yes “Tour 2013,” the band will be playing the three biggest albums of their career, in their entirety. Those include The Yes Album, Close to the Edge, and Going for the One. Because all albums will be played end to end, that means fans will be able to see the band perform a rare performance of the song “A Venture” from The Yes Album, as well as other songs that have never been performed live.

The tour includes over 25 dates (for a full listing of dates and venues, check out the band’s website here.) Five of those dates (March 1, 9, 22, 24, and April 5) will not include Going for the One, as time does not allow for a third album to be played.

Not included are the tour dates is a short pit stop the band will be making from March 25 — March 30 when they play for Cruise to the Edge. This five-day cruise takes passengers around the Caribbean Islands with various acts, including Yes, Nektar, Tangerine Dream, and Glass Hammer to name just a few.

And if that isn’t enough Yes news to keep you celebrating, the band is also heading into the studio this fall to record their 21st studio album!
