Wiz Khalifa and ASAP Rocky will be setting out on the Under the Influence of Music Tour in July with three dates starting out in California.

They’ll open their tour at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, on July 17th before heading down to Irvine, California to the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre the next night.  On July 19th, they’ll take the stage in Chula Vista, California, at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre.

Other big stops include three shows in four nights in Texas later in July, and a scattering of shows in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Canada to finish off the tour.

Wiz Khalifa is a 25-year-old rap artist hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who has had two albums hit number one on the United States rap charts: Rolling Papers and O.N.I.F.C.

Khalifa burst onto the season in 2010 with his single, “Black and Yellow,” which hit number one on both the United States Rap and United States charts. It was certified three times platinum by the RIAA. That’s Khalifa’s only number one hit to date, although “Roll Up,” did hit number two on the United States Rap charts. “Work Hard, Play Hard,” hit number three.

ASAP Rocky is from Harlem in Manhattan, New York, and is best known for his single from last year, “F***in’ Problems,” which reached number two on the United States Rap charts and is sure to be a big hit in concert this summer. The song featured Drake, 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar and was certified RIAA: Platinum.

Khalifa is known for a variety of styles, but a few years ago began to move toward a melodic style with some rapping and some singing on his tracks. He is also well known for his love of marijuana, which has led to minor legal problems off the stage. During his 2010 tour, he was arrested for possession and trafficking of marijuana.

Due to his laid back style, Khalifa is the perfect fit for a summer concert, so don’t miss out on your chance to see him in person. Tickets are sure to go fast in many locations.
