Wireless Festival Headliners Include Jay-Z and JT!
It’s been said that Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z are going out on a short stadium tour this year, although dates and confirmation from either star have yet to be obtained. Maybe both stars are just waiting until they finish up at London’s Wireless Festival this year — an event where both are performing, along with a host of other huge headliners.
Snoop Dogg, Frank Ocean, Rita Ora, Emeli Sande, John Legend, and DJ Calvin Harris are the headliners that have been released for the event that will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Stadium on July 12-13. Supporting acts have not yet been announced, but there’s little doubt that they’ll be just as crowd-pleasing as the biggest names are.
“This is a stellar lineup of stars that is set to bring the house down this summer at Queen Elizabeth Park in London,” said London Mayor Boris Johnson during a recent press release. “It proves that our fantastic Olympic park is now a destination of choice for world class musical events.”
Two of those world class acts — JT and Jay-Z — have been inseparable lately. Jay-Z appeared on JT’s most recent single, “Suit & Tie,” and the two performed it together at the Grammys as well. When JT then played a smaller venue in LA in the days following that event, Jay-Z was once again there providing rapping support on the song.
This European performance is also the only one on the continent that either star will perform in the next coming months — fanning the flames on the theory that these two are indeed heading out on the road together.
