Wild’s Parise has concussion
St. Paul, MN (SportsNetwork.com) – Minnesota Wild forward Zach Parise has been diagnosed with a concussion and will be sidelined an indefinite amount of time.
Wild coach Mike Yeo made the announcement on Thursday, one day after he said Parise would miss the Wild’s upcoming road trip due to an upper body injury that required further tests.
Parise was injured during the Wild’s 4-1 loss to Pittsburgh on Tuesday. He has four goals and six assists in 11 games this season.
The Wild were set to open a three-game road trip Thursday in Ottawa before facing Montreal on Saturday and Parise’s former team, the New Jersey Devils, on Tuesday.
