Who will Win the Final Four?

On Saturday, April 6 Michigan will face Syracuse, Louisville will face Wichita State, and the winner of those contests will face each other. But who will win it all?

Lousiville and Wichita State are the first to play against each other on Saturday, and they’re also the easiest ones to predict. Wichita State is ranked 9th in their bracket, while Louisville sits in the number one spot, making Wichita State the clear Cinderella story. Unfortunately, it will probably end on Saturday when the slipper falls off for good, leaving Louisville to take on either Michigan or Syracuse.

Michigan and Syracuse are both extremely tough teams, and they’ve both got the best point guards in the country. Make no mistake about it, Trey Burke of Michigan and Michael Carter-Williams of Syracuse will be the biggest storylines this coming weekend, and they’re exactly what makes this contest so difficult to predict. Burke has become legendary in the NCAA, and his performance against Kansas showed the entire country just what he’s capable of. Syracuse are going to need to find a way to shut him down if they want any chance.

Syracuse on the other hand, is going to need to step up their offense if they want a shot of beating Michigan. They do have that outstanding defense that, inarguably, is one of the best in the country. But with a shooting average of only 40 per cent in their last three wins, they’re going to have to dig a little deeper.

The game between Michigan and Syracuse will be a tough one; but not as tough as the game one of them will face against Louisville — the team we’re giving the championship too after it’s all said and done. Many have changed that prediction after Will Ware’s heartbreaking injury on Sunday, but we think that will only spur them on.

Who do you think will win the Final Four? Is it the same team that you’re rooting for, or a different one?
