White Sox sign No. 3 pick Rodon
Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork.com) – The Chicago White Sox signed first-round draft pick Carlos Rodon on Friday.
Rodon, a left-handed pitcher, was the third overall pick in the 2014 draft.
He inked a minor-league deal with a $6.582-million signing bonus.
Rodon went 6-7 with a 2.01 ERA in 14 games last season at NC State. He tallied three complete games with 117 strikeouts in 98 2/3 innings and held batters to a .229 average.
