Las Vegas, NV (SportsNetwork.com) – Tyrell Corbin netted 13 points, grabbed four rebounds and dished out four assists as the fourth-seeded CS-Bakersfield Roadrunners outlasted the Utah Valley Wolverines, 55-40, in the quarterfinal round of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament at Orleans Arena.

Aly Ahmed chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds, and Kevin Mays led the team on the glass with 14 boards for Bakersfield (14-18), which moves on to the semifinal round of the tournament to face top-seeded New Mexico State Friday.

Donte Williams led all scorers in the contest with 15 points to pace Utah Valley (11-19), which lost for the third time in the team’s last four outings. Zach Nelson contributed 12 points with eight rebounds in the loss.

Bakersfield moves on to play a New Mexico State team that has won five league titles, and owns a 20-4 all-time WAC Tournament record.
