Watch the Trans-Siberian Orchestra This Holiday Season

TSO has been around since 1993 when the creative forces of Paul O’Neill, Al Pitrelli, and Jon Oliva came together to found the core of the group. They wrote massively popular rock operas but did not begin touring until 1999. TSO has a unique sound that melds all of the best things about classical and orchestral music with heavy metal and progressive rock. The blend is as smooth as chocolate and peanut butter and appeals to people with many different types of musical tastes.
TSO does not only do holiday music, but it was what helped to get their name out there, and it is what many people expect from them this time of year. They have a trio of albums that make up their Christmas Trilogy – Christmas Eve and Other Stories, The Christmas Attic, and The Lost Christmas Eve. They have some other great albums too, including Night Castle and Beethoven’s Last Night. They’ve sold more than eight million albums and nine million tickets to their popular concerts.
The concerts TSO puts on are truly impressive by any standard. They include a string section, along with a light and laser shows.
