Trent Reznor had already announced that he’d be playing at the huge musical festival Coachella on April 12, but even more recently he’s also announced that he and Nine Inch Nails are going on the road this summer for a “full-on stadium arena tour” that will be called the “How to Destroy Angels” tour.

Taking to the road with Trent under the name Nine Inch Nails will be Eric Avery of Jane’s Addiction; Adrian Belew of King Crimson; Josh Eustis of Telefon Tel Aviv; along with original NIN collaborators, Alessandro Cortini and Ilan Rubin. Having officially called the band quits now for the past four years, you can bet the band will be bringing the classics back to their oldest fans, but they’ll also be playing some of their newest material too.

Taking on the name of their 2010 EP, the tour will undoubtedly include some of the hits from their How to Destroy Angels album, but the band also released An omen EP_ last year, which is officially the album the tour is promoting. With dates to come for the next year or so, the band’s most likely going to include tracks from their Welcome Oblivion album that’s due out soon on March 5.

So far confirmed stops include Las Vegas, Monterey, San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, Montclair, and New Jersey, but Trent stated in a press release that they’ll most likely be continuing on “through the fall and into 2014 as well.”
