Louisville, KY (SportsNetwork.com) – Teddy Bridgewater completed 21-of-31 passes for 310 yards and two touchdowns to lead eighth-ranked Louisville to a 24-10 win over Rutgers on Thursday.
Bridgewater threw one interception and fumbled once, but was able to overcome the miscues to lead the Cardinals (6-0, 2-0 AAC) to victory.
Senorise Perry carried the ball 13 times for 104 yards and a touchdown and Kai De La Cruz and Eli Rogers each had a touchdown reception for Louisville, which has won eight straight games dating back to last season.
Gary Nova completed 19-of-35 passes for 202 yards and a touchdown but threw four interceptions, including a pair of picks late in the fourth quarter for the Scarlet Knights (4-1, 1-1), who had won four straight games entering the contest.
