Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) – Terry Rozier scored 22 points and led a late rally as No. 17 Louisville survived its first game without Chris Jones, beating Georgia Tech 52-51 on Monday. Georgia Tech led by as many as 13 points in the second half, but Rozier led a 14-2 run to make things interesting. Rozier hit three of Louisville’s four triples during the flurry, which got the Cardinals back within one, 43-42. 3 1/2 minutes later, Wayne Blackshear tied it with a 3 from the left wing. With 59 seconds to play, Rozier drove in for a scoop layup to give Louisville its first lead since it was 10-8 eight-plus minutes into the game. Marcus Georges-Hunt went coast- to-coast for a layup to tie it after Chinanu Onuaku missed the front end of a 1-and-1, but Rozier countered with his own layup in response. Onuaku then denied Travis Jorgenson at the rim, and Blackshear put the game away with a pair of free throws in the final seconds. Blackshear added 10 points, Montrezl Harrell scored eight and the duo each pulled down eight rebounds for Louisville (22-6, 10-5 ACC), which avoided its first three-game road losing streak since 2011.

Final Score: Kansas State 70, (8) Kansas 63
