Spokane, WA (SportsNetwork.com) – Kevin Pangos had 17 points and five assists and No. 6 Gonzaga cruised to an 88-57 win over San Francisco on Thursday night. Przemek Karnowski netted 16 points and Kyle Wiltjer added 15 points and five rebounds for the Bulldogs (15-1, 4-0 WCC), who have won eight straight games since their lone loss at Arizona on Dec. 6. Kruize Pinkins led the Dons (7-10, 1-4) with 20 points.

Eugene, OR (SportsNetwork.com) – T.J. McConnell came out uncharacteristically aggressive and it paid off, as the redshirt senior scored 21 points to lead No. 7 Arizona in a 80-62 win over Oregon. McConnell, who transferred from Duquesne after two seasons with the Dukes, had never scored more than 19 points in an Arizona uniform. All five starters reached double figures for the Wildcats (14-1, Pac-12), who snapped Oregon’s six-game win streak with a result that was never really in doubt. Stanley Johnson had 14 points and seven rebounds, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson gave 13 with nine boards and Kaleb Tarczewski posted his first double-double of the season after totaling 11 points and 10 rebounds. Joseph Young scored 12 points on 4-of-15 shooting to lead Oregon (11-4, 1-1).

Huntington, WV (SportsNetwork.com) – Jonathan Arledge had 13 points to help 25th-ranked Old Dominion extend its best-ever start as a Division I program with an easy 72-51 victory over Marshall in a Conference USA clash. Trey Freeman and Jordan Baker chipped in 11 points each in the Monarchs’ 10th straight win. Freeman added eight rebounds for ODU (13-1, 2-0 C-USA), playing for the first time in school history as a team ranked in the Associated Press Top 25. Marshall (4-11, 0-2), which had dropped 11 of 12 since a 3-0 start, was paced by Austin Loop’s 15 points. Ryan Taylor and Jay Johnson each finished with 13 for the Thundering Herd, but Taylor was charged with eight of Marshall’s 22 turnovers.
