Iowa City, IA (SportsNetwork.com) – Naz Long had a season-high 21 points on 7- of-11 shooting, Dustin Hogue scored 13 with 13 rebounds and 14th-ranked Iowa State beat Iowa 90-75 on Friday night. The Cyclones (7-1) played without second-leading scorer Bryce Dejean-Jones, who was suspended for the showdown with the Hawkeyes (8-3) following his arrest early Thursday. Abdel Nader picked up the slack in Dejean-Jones’ absence, contributing a season-best 19 points and six rebounds. Dejean-Jones was charged with two misdemeanors following a noise complaint at his apartment. Georges Niang finished with 16 points, seven assists, six rebounds and two blocks for Iowa State, which rode a big second-half run to its fourth straight win. Aaron White scored 18 points to lead the Hawkeyes, who had their win streak snapped at six games.
