Bronson Koenig supplied 14 points and four assists for the Badgers (6-0), who will face Oklahoma in Friday’s championship game. D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera sank five 3-pointers but missed one at the buzzer that could have forced overtime. He led the Hoyas (4-1) with 29 points on 11-of-18 shooting. Joshua Smith was the only other Georgetown player to reach double figures in points as he finished with 10.

Nassau, Bahamas (SportsNetwork.com) – Marcus Paige totaled 21 points and five assists and No. 5 North Carolina got back on track with a 78-56 dismantling of 22nd-ranked UCLA in the second round of the Battle 4 Atlantis. Justin Jackson scored 12 points while J.P. Tokoto and Isaiah Hicks netted 10 apiece for the Tar Heels (4-1), who were upset by Butler in the opening round of the tournament. Nothing went right in this one for UCLA (4-2), which was pressured into 23 turnovers and went just 1-of-14 shooting from behind the arc. Norman Powell finished with 15 points and five steals in the setback.

Orlando, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Perry Ellis totaled 17 points and five rebounds as No. 11 Kansas subdued Rhode Island, 76-60, in the Orlando Classic. Frank Mason III picked up 12 points, with Devonte’ Graham and Wayne Selden, Jr. contributing 10 points each for the Jayhawks (3-1), who will face Tennessee on Friday. E.C. Matthews poured in a game-high 20 points for the Rams (3-1), who were coming off an overtime win against Nebraska. Gilvydas Biruta added 16 points and seven boards in defeat.

Nassau, Bahamas (SportsNetwork.com) – The 18th-ranked Gators got an unexpected boost from freshman Chris Chiozza, who came off the bench and supplied 13 points with six steals in Florida’s 56-47 win over UAB in the second round of the Battle 4 Atlantis. Chiozza, who went scoreless in Wednesday’s overtime loss to Georgetown in round 1, had scored just 19 points in his collegiate career prior to Thursday’s win. The reserve guard made three of Florida’s seven 3-pointers, including consecutive triples during a crucial stretch midway through the second half. Tosin Mehinti made a layup around Chiozza’s 3s and UAB scored the next five points to tie the game at 39. The Blazers led by two after Mehinti split a pair of free throws out of the final media timeout. But Florida climbed in front when Chris Walker and Jon Horford made two free throws and Kasey Hill had a layup with 1 1/2 minutes to play. After Hakeem Baxter missed twice at the rim out of a timeout, Dorian Finney-Smith’s dunk and more free throws secured the game for the Gators.

Orlando, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Denzel Valentine scored a game-high 19 points with five rebounds to lead No. 20 Michigan State to a 77-45 victory over Rider in the Orlando Classic. Bryn Forbes finished with 15 points, Travis Trice and Gavin Schilling both had 10 points and six rebounds and Matt Costello supplied six points, nine rebounds and three blocks for the Spartans (4-1), who won their third straight game. Michigan State will face the winner of the Georgia Tech-Marquette game on Sunday. Matt Lopez scored 14 points and Kahlil Thomas contributed seven points and six rebounds for the Broncs (2-3), who dropped a second straight game.
