Terry Rozier added 13 points and Wayne Blackshear tallied 12 points, nine rebounds and five assists in a game Louisville (2-0) led 50-20 at halftime and was up by as many as 54 late. The overmatched Gamecocks (0-2) committed 20 turnovers and were outrebounded by a sound 60-26 margin while shooting 28 percent for the night. Darion Rackley was the lone Jacksonville State player in double figures, finishing with 11 points.

Gainesville, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Angel Rodriguez was unstoppable down the stretch, scoring Miami-Florida’s final 11 points in a 69-67 upset of the eighth-ranked Florida Gators. Rodriguez made one of his five 3-pointers with 16 seconds left to give the Hurricanes a 68-67 lead. After taking a charge at the other end of the court, he made 1-of-2 free throws with 2.3 seconds remaining. Michael Frazier II missed a jumper at the buzzer. Rodriguez ended with 24 points and Miami snapped Florida’s 33-game home winning streak. James Palmer added 10 points for the Hurricanes (2-0), who trailed by 15 early in the second half. Eli Carter tallied 21 points for the Gators (1-1), who were without forward Dorian Finney-Smith due to a hairline fracture in his non-shooting left hand. Jon Horford and Frazier added 17 and 13 points, respectively.

Daniel Ochefu had 10 points and nine rebounds while Darrun Hilliard II and Dylan Ennis each gave 10 points for the Wildcats (2-0), who opened their season with a win over Lehigh. Devin Martin had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Shore Hawks (0-2), who were defeated by Virginia Tech on Friday.

Spokane, WA (SportsNetwork.com) – Kevin Pangos is back to being healthy and primed to become one of the nation’s top point guards. Pangos hit five 3- pointers and netted 17 points to go with seven assists and three steals as No. 13 Gonzaga cruised past 22nd-ranked SMU 72-56 on Monday night. Beset by turf toe and ankle injuries a year ago, Pangos didn’t take the next leap as expected in his junior season, averaging 14.4 points and 3.6 assists per game. The senior put in 16 points in a blowout win over Sacramento State to open the campaign on Friday. Domantas Sabonis, the son of former NBA great Arvydas Sabonis, posted 13 points and nine rebounds off the bench for the Bulldogs (2-0). Ben Moore had 11 points and eight boards to lead the Mustangs (1-1), who beat Lamar in its opener on Friday. SMU was once again without forward Markus Kennedy, who has been ruled academically ineligible and there is currently no official word on his potential return. He averaged 12.4 points and 7.1 rebounds per game last year.

Naz Long scored 17 points, Bryce Dejean-Jones had 15 points, seven rebounds and seven assists and Dustin Hogue had 15 points and seven rebounds for the Cyclones (2-0), who defeated Oakland to open the season. R.J. Hunter scored 21 points while Ryan Harrow had 12 points for the Panthers (1-1), who defeated Tennessee Temple on Friday.

Max Bielfeldt posted 18 points off the bench and Derrick Walton added 15 points and eight rebounds for the Wolverines (2-0), who beat Division II Hillsdale College in their opener on Saturday. Chris Hass led the Bison (1-1) with 21 points.
