Titans’ Roos to have knee surgery, out for year
Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) – Tennessee Titans head coach Ken Wisenhunt confirmed Thursday that left tackle Michael Roos will have surgery on his right knee, which will end his season.
First-round pick Taylor Lewan will step in and start for Roos.
“Not the way I wanted to earn a starting role,” Lewan said. “But this is why they drafted me.”
The 32-year-old and three-time All-Pro, Roos, has missed just one game in his 10 seasons with Tennessee.
