Tigers SS Suarez injures back

Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) – Detroit Tigers rookie shortstop Eugenio Suarez left Tuesday’s game against the Chicago White Sox in the fourth inning with lower back tightness.

Suarez committed a throwing error in the third. He was pinch-hit for by Andrew Romine in the fourth inning and is day-to-day.

Suarez, who singled in the second, is hitting .260 with three homers and 11 RBI in 42 games this season.
