The deal keeps Murray in Hamilton through the 2016 season.

“Rico is an incredibly versatile player and a natural playmaker whose character makes him a valuable presence in our locker room,” Hamilton head coach and general manager Kent Austin said.

Murray tallied 53 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions and a forced fumble in 14 games this past season.
