Tiger-Cats sign Murray to extension
Hamilton, ON (SportsNetwork.com) – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed linebacker/defensive back Rico Murray to a contact extension on Wednesday.
The deal keeps Murray in Hamilton through the 2016 season.
“Rico is an incredibly versatile player and a natural playmaker whose character makes him a valuable presence in our locker room,” Hamilton head coach and general manager Kent Austin said.
Murray tallied 53 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions and a forced fumble in 14 games this past season.
The Tiger-Cats also signed defensive lineman Craig Marshall and running back Tavoy Moore to new deals.
