The Rat Pack is Back
Were you lucky enough to see the original members of the Rat Pack perform? Whether you saw them live, or you’ve merely listened to old performances, you could not help but be drawn in by their charm and style. They put on shows that were part musical and part variety show, and they happened to have some of the most talented singers of the day providing all of that entertainment. The Rat Pack, put together in 1960 featured the talents of Joey Bishop, Peter Lawford, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra.
While the original Rat Pack is no longer with us, that does not mean the legend is gone. With The Rat Pack is Back!, the magic returns. The performers who are taking on the roles of Sinatra, Martin, and the others are quite talented and can help to evoke the same style and swagger the actual Rat Pack had. The show opens with a montage of old photos from Vegas in the 60s, back when the Pack was playing the Copa Room at the Sands. It has the same humor and the same fun that the old shows used to have, and that’s a real testament to the quality of the performers here.
They will perform some of your favorite songs too. Chances are you will get to hear some old favorites, including “You Make Me Feel So Young”, “That’s Amore”, and “My Way”.
