Texas Tech-Miami game postponed in 8th
Coral Gables, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – The NCAA regional game between Texas Tech and Miami was postponed because of rain on Sunday night and will resume Monday afternoon.
Second-seeded Texas Tech, needing just one win to make the best-of-three super regionals, leads 1-0 with Miami batting in the top of the eighth inning.
Top-seeded Miami would have to beat the Red Raiders twice to advance.
The Hurricanes knocked out No. 4 seed Bethune-Cookman earlier Sunday with a 10-0 win.
The regional’s No. 3 seed, Columbia, was ousted after losing its first two games.
