Arcadia, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner Texas Red will begin his 3-year-old season in Sunday’s San Vicente Stakes at Santa Anita Park.

The colt is trained by Keith Desormeaux and ridden by the trainer’s brother Kent. Texas Red worked Saturday at Santa Anita five furlongs in 1:01.40.

Along with Texas Red the other probable starters for the seven-furlong San Vicente are Conquest Harlanday, Lord Nelson, Magic Taste, Punctuate, Serbian Syclone, Sir Samson and Tizcano
