Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) – A day after he returned to practice, Houston Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney was listed as questionable Saturday to play in Monday night’s game in Pittsburgh.

Clowney practiced Friday for the first time since a knee injury knocked the No. 1 draft pick out of his first NFL game.

The former South Carolina star is still just feeling his way back after having surgery to repair a torn left meniscus last month and was limited in practice again on Saturday.

Texans coach Bill O’Brien said Friday that Clowney would be a game-time decision and the linebacker revealed that the team will follow his lead in determining when he’s OK to play.

“Right now, it’s up to me and what I can do,” he said Friday. “I’m out there testing the leg out to see what I can do and what I can’t do. If I can do it, I’ll do it, but if I can’t, I just let the coaches know that it’s bothering me and they’ll take me out of that drill.”

Clowney made one tackle against Washington in Week 1 before walking into the locker room under his own power near the end of the first half.

He had offseason sports hernia surgery and also suffered a concussion during a joint scrimmage against the Denver Broncos during training camp.

The Texans ruled out cornerback Darryl Morris (ankle) for a third straight game and linebacker Mike Mohamed (calf) was listed as questionable. Every other player on the Houston injury report is probable to play.
