Stevie Nicks Talks Fleetwood Mac Tour
It may seem like forever ago, but it was just in July that Stevie Nicks teased the fact that there may be a Fleetwood Mac tour coming soon. But more recently she’s just done an interview with ABC News Radio, in which she’s nailed down some pretty specific details about the tour. No dates yet, but there’s reason for fans to be doing more than just hoping that this one’s going to happen. So, when can you expect them to go on the road?
“We go into rehearsals somewhere around the end of February,” Nicks said in the interview. “So if everything goes according to plan, we should probably be out on the road by end of April or May, I would think.”
But while things like rehearsals might be getting nailed down, Stevie says that the band is still “in talks” about the idea and that they’re “not in the world of Fleetwood Mac yet.” But once they get inside that world, we all know the great things that can happen, and you might soon be able to see (or rather hear) even more of them. During the same interview Stevie also said that there may be a few new songs the band brings with them this time on the road.
“Maybe like two songs, maybe four, who knows?” she says. She did mention that one of those tracks being considered is one from 1973, produced by Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham before they ever even started Fleetwood Mac!
