Steelers sign CB Allen to new deal
Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed cornerback Cortez Allen to a five-year contract through the 2018 season.
Allen is entering his fourth NFL season after being selected by the Steelers in the fourth round of the 2011 draft. He has started 11 of the 44 games he has played, and has four career interceptions.
The 25-year-old Citadel product appeared in 14 games last season, starting eight, and notched 51 tackles with two interceptions.
