Stastny placed on injured reserve

St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) – The St. Louis Blues placed center Paul Stastny on injured reserve Friday and recalled forward Dmitrij Jaskin from Chicago of the American Hockey League.

Stastny, who was lured away from Colorado and signed a lucrative four-year contract at the outset of free agency in July, totaled a goal and three assists in four games for his new club in the early going.

Jaskin participated in 18 games for the Blues last year through several call- ups and recorded a goal and one assist.
