Stars place D Robidas on IR

Frisco, TX (SportsNetwork.com) – In a not so surprising move, the Dallas Stars have placed Stephane Robidas on injured reserve.

The 36-year-old defenseman is expected to be out 4-to-6 months after sustaining a broken leg during Friday’s game against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Robidas has totaled four goals and one assist with a plus-7 rating in 24 games this season.

To fill the roster spot, the Stars recalled defenseman Jamie Oleksiak from Texas of the American Hockey League.
