Ozone Park, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – Social Inclusion, owned by Ron Sanchez, had his last workout Saturday before next week’s $1 million Wood Memorial at Aqueduct.

Working four furlongs at Gulfstream Park, Social Inclusion was timed in 46 4/5 seconds and galloped out five furlongs in 59 3/5 seconds.

“Very easy. Marvelous,” said Sanchez by telephone. “He went fast and easy.”

Social Inclusion defeated Honor Code by 10 lengths in a 1 1/16-mile allowance race at Gulfstream Park earlier in March. Trained by Manny Azpurua, the colt broke the track record of 1:41 by going the 1 1/16 miles in 1:40.97. It was just the second career start for Social Inclusion. He won his debut effort by 7 1/2 lengths at Gulfstream on Feb. 22, going six furlongs in 1:09.35.

Also working out Saturday for a possible Wood Memorial start was Noble Moon. The 3-year-old had a mile work at the Belmont Park training track and was timed in 1:45.43.

“We’re going to wait to see how Noble Moon comes out of his work before we make a decision on the Wood,” said trainer Leah Gyarmati. “If he’s tearing apart the stall in a day or two, we’ll take a shot. If not, we’ll wait.”

Owned by Treadway Racing Stable, Noble Moon won the Jerome Stakes at Aqueduct on Jan. 4 and was third in the Nashua last November to Cairo Prince. He has $193,000 in earnings.
