Sixers’ Carter-Williams out vs. Rockets
Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) – Philadelphia 76ers rookie guard Michael Carter-Williams will not play Wednesday against the Houston Rockets due to a bruise on the arch of his left foot.
Carter-Williams, who missed practice on Tuesday, has taken the league by surprise with his lengthy 6-foot-6 frame, averaging 17.4 points, 7.6 assists, and 5.4 rebounds through eight games this season.
This is the first game Carter-Williams will miss as a professional. Tony Wroten will start in his place.
