See the Real Life Mentalist
Have you heard of the hit CBS television show The Mentalist? It is in syndication and has a very interesting premise. It centers on a man who knows and understands human behavior so well he’s able to predict what people will say and do, and even what they are thinking. This makes him a good asset for the police, and he works as a civilian with an investigative unit in this show. While it makes for a very fun and dynamic television show, many people do not realize that it has some basis in truth. In fact, the man who created the show is a real life mentalist who has a long and interesting career. Gerry McCambridge, the actual mentalist pitched the idea for the television show The Mentalist, and the rest is history.
McCambridge has been working professionally in the field for more than two decades. His father was a detective in NYC, and he learned some of his observational techniques from his dad. He also studied body language, memory techniques, non-verbal communication, acting, magic, and more, all to become a performer who seems to have amazing psychic powers. Of course, it is all an illusion. He uses the techniques he learned over the years to predict – quite accurately – the things his audience will do next.
He has performed all around the world. Currently, he has a show six nights a week in Las Vegas at the V Theater, which you can find in Planet Hollywood. You do not have to be a fan of the television show, or know anything about the show at all, to enjoy the experience of seeing McCambridge live. He’s able to entertain you by thrilling you, making you laugh, and making you wonder just how he’s able to know so much about what people will do and say. It really is a phenomenal live show.
The recommended age for the show is thirteen and over. It can be a great experience for those who want a night out with some interesting and different entertainment. If you will be vacationing in Las Vegas, you should consider getting tickets to this show.
