See Sheryl Crow Solo or With George Strait
The beautiful and talented Sheryl Crow is performing once again, and that should be some very welcome news to her legions of fans. Currently, she has three upcoming appearances. On December 4, 2013, she will be at the Riverside Theatre in Milwaukee, WI. On March 21, 2014, she will join George Strait at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. The next night, she and Strait perform at Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA. While this is just a limited tour, it is exciting for those who are in the area and who want to see Sheryl Crow live and on stage.
What is it that makes Crow such a popular performer? She doesn’t feel bound by a single musical genre. Instead, she is able to incorporate elements of rock and pop into country and folk music to come up with her own musical style. She’s performed with a number of different artists over the years, including Kid Rock, Willie Nelson, the Rolling Stones, Luciano Pavarotti, and Smokey Robinson. In the past, she performed backup vocals for Belinda Carlisle, Don Henley, and others.
In the earliest days of her career, she was teaching music at an elementary school and playing in bands on the weekend. This eventually led to working as a jingle singer, and then some of the aforementioned backup gigs. She even toured with Michael Jackson and sang as a backup vocalist from ‘87 to ‘89.
In addition, Crow is more than just a performer. She actually writes her own songs and can play instruments. This is something lacking in quite a bit of music today. Her talent at songwriting has led to some of her songs being recorded by stars such as Tina Turner and Celine Dion.
Some of Crow’s most popular songs include “All I Wanna Do”, “Soak Up the Sun”, “Everyday is a Winding Road”, “Leaving Las Vegas”, and “Home”. When she performs, you know there is a good chance you will get to hear some of her biggest hits. If you love Sheryl Crow then make it a point to buy your tickets early so you don’t miss the opportunity.
