Roughriders part ways with Dressler

Regina, SK (SportsNetwork.com) – The Saskatchewan Roughriders released wide receiver Weston Dressler allowing him the opportunity to sign with a National Football League team, the club said in a release Thursday.

Dressler recorded 1,011 receiving yards and nine touchdowns in 2013. He added 16 catches for 240 yards and four touchdowns in the playoffs while leading the Roughriders to a victory in the 101st Grey Cup.

In six seasons with Saskatchewan, Dressler caught 442 passes for 6,531 yards and 43 touchdowns.
