Romo practices again, probable for Sunday
London, England (SportsNetwork.com) – Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo practiced fully on Friday and was listed as probable for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Romo, who has two transverse process fractures in his back, went through a limited practice on Thursday after sitting out Wednesday’s session. He has skipped most Wednesday practices this season as part of his regular schedule to ease the workload on his surgically repaired back.
The veteran signal-caller injured his back in the third quarter of an overtime loss to Washington on Oct. 27, although he did return for the final series of regulation and Dallas’ lone possession of overtime.
Romo missed last Sunday’s game against Arizona and Brandon Weeden struggled in a 28-17 loss to the Cardinals.
Rolando McClain did not practice this week because of knee and groin injuries, but the linebacker was listed as questionable. Defensive tackle Nick Hayden (shoulder) returned to practice on a limited basis on Friday and was also listed as questionable.
Defensive tackle Tyrone Crawford (knee) has been ruled out for the game.
