Reports: Rockets acquire Prigioni, McDaniels
(SportsNetwork.com) – The Houston Rockets reportedly acquired guards Pablo Prigioni and K.J. McDaniels in two separate deals prior to Thursday’s NBA trade deadline.
The Rockets received Prigioni from the Knicks in exchange for guard Alexey Shved and two second-round picks and sent guard Isaiah Canaan and a second- round pick to Philadelphia for McDaniels, according to Yahoo Sports.
Prigioni is averaging 4.7 points and 2.4 assists over 43 games in his third NBA season, while the rookie McDaniels averaged 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks over 52 games for Philadelphia.
Shved will play for a third team this season after contributing 7.6 points and 1.9 assists per game in 26 appearances for the Rockets and 76ers.
Canaan averaged 6.2 points and 1.3 rebounds over 25 games in his second season with the Rockets.
