Report: Reds, Bailey agree to $105 million deal
Goodyear, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) – The Cincinnati Reds and pitcher Homer Bailey have reportedly agreed on a six-year, $105 million contract.
MLB.com, citing an unidentified source, reported the deal, which also includes a mutual option for a seventh year worth $25 million with a $5 million buyout.
Bailey has a 49-45 career record with a 4.25 ERA.
In 32 starts last year, the right-hander went 11-12 with a 3.49 ERA. He threw his second career no-hitter on July 2 against the San Francisco Giants.
