Redskins sign CB Biggers

Ashburn, VA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Washington Redskins have brought back cornerback E.J. Biggers.

Terms of the deal, signed Thursday, were not disclosed by the club. The Washington Post reported it is a one-year contract.

The 26-year-old Miami native totaled 35 tackles and one interception over 16 games (five starts) for the Redskins last year, his first with the club.

Biggers, a Western Michigan product, spent his first three seasons with Tampa Bay after the Buccaneers picked him the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
