Redskins LB Barnett has MCL sprain
Ashburn, VA (SportsNetwork.com) – Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan announced Monday that linebacker Nick Barnett will be sidelined for six weeks because of a third degree MCL sprain.
Barnett had 12 tackles in 14 games this season, his first with the Redskins.
The 32-year-old Barnett has 1,041 tackles, 20 1/2 sacks and 12 interceptions in 153 career games with the Packers, Bills and Redskins.
