Reds activate Heisey

Oakland, CA (Sports Network) – The Cincinnati Reds have activated outfielder Chris Heisey from the 15-day disabled list.

Heisey is in the lineup in the designated hitter spot for Tuesday’s game in Oakland. The outfielder has been on the 15-day disabled list since April 29 with a strained right hamstring.

He enters Tuesday’s action hitting .173 with two homers and five RBI in 23 games this season. In six rehab games with Triple-A Louisville, Heisey went 4- for-20.
