Red Hot Chili Peppers Debut New Video!

Since the release of their ninth studio album, Stadium Arcadium five years ago, there’s been little news on the Red Hot Chili Peppers front, with fans eagerly waiting for something new. They got what they wanted earlier this month when the Peppers released their single, The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie, earlier this month and now the band is about to release the video!

The song immediately climbed to the top of Billboard’s Modern Rock radio chart, giving the Peppers their 12th Number One on Modern Rock; allowing them to keep their record for the most singles in the top spot on Modern Rock. But now that they’re back, the RHCPs aren’t going to stop there. They’re giving fans even more of what they wanted by releasing the video for the song that recently made Number One, and you can see it on MTV on Wednesday night.

The video for The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie will air on MTV and MTV2 on Wednesday, August 17th, at 7:53 p.m. After the video airs, the band will sit down with MTV News for an interview. But fans don’t have to worry about relying on just the questions the interviewer will ask, they can also ask their own! Viewers who are watching can tweet their own questions to the band at #AskRHCP.

And if videos and interviews aren’t enough, fans can continue the excitement on August 30th, when the band will release the full album, I’m With You. The album is the tenth studio album for the band, but is the first one that showcases the band’s new guitarist, Josh Klinghoffer, who first appeared with the band when they played at a pre-Grammy’s award show last year.
