Rays P Moore leaves game
Kansas City, MO (SportsNetwork.com) – Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Matt Moore left Monday’s game against the Kansas City Royals in the fifth innings with a sore left elbow.
After delivering a pitch to Royals outfielder Norichika Aoki. After a discussion on the mound with Moore, Rays manager Joe Maddon and the Tampa Bay training staff, the left-hander left the game.
Moore will undergo an MRI on Tuesday.
He allowed one run on four hits before exiting after 4 1/3 innings. He was replaced by Cesar Ramos.
