Raptors’ DeRozan out indefinitely
Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) – Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan will be sidelined indefinitely after suffering a groin injury in Friday’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
The Raptors revealed the extent of the injury on Saturday, specifying that the All-Star guard tore his left adductor longus tendon.
DeRozan fell to the floor on a drive to the basket in the third quarter. He eventually got to his feet and walked off the court gingerly.
Before leaving the contest, DeRozan was held scoreless on 0-for-8 shooting from the field. He entered Friday leading the Raptors with 20.7 points a game.
