Rangers ink Perez to 4-year deal
Arlington, TX (SportsNetwork.com) – The Texas Rangers signed young left-hander Martin Perez to a four-year contract on Thursday.
The deal includes club options that could carry it through 2020.
Perez, 22, became a fixture in the Rangers’ rotation last season, going 10-6 with a 3.62 earned run average in 20 starts. He debuted in the majors with Texas in 2012, making six starts and six relief appearances.
