Raiders put CB Hayden on PUP list
Alameda, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Oakland Raiders placed cornerback D.J. Hayden on the reserve/physically unable to perform list Tuesday.
Hayden will be out for at least the first six weeks of the regular season as a result. The Houston product is dealing with a foot injury.
Oakland’s first-round draft pick in 2013 was limited to eight games last season due to injury.
The Raiders also released veteran quarterback Trent Edwards; waived wide receiver Juron Criner; waived/injured safety Larry Asante, wide receiver Greg Jenkins and running back Kory Sheets; waived/failed physical guard Lucas Nix; and placed tight end Nick Kasa on injured reserve.
